How to Remove Conduit/Ask/Bing/Norton/Delta Toolbar in Chrome/Firefox/IE

Some times irritating and sticky search and tool bars installed on your browser and become your default search and set as home page . if you try to get rid of them they again become your home page. Actually they are adware hijack your browser and change their internal settings they record your browsing history, monitor your search habit and collect your personal information for commercial use, they are also ad-supported search engines which creates advertisements and pop,ups  on your browser. They installed on your browsers after clicking on advertisements or during installation of free software from internet.

Now i am going to show you how can you get rid of  these search bars like Conduit,Ask,Bing,Norton and Delta.

You just have to follow steps.

Remove Conduit,Ask,Bing,Norton,Delta Toolbar from Firefox

Step 1

Open control panel go to add and remove programs and  uninstall the search bar you want to remove like,Conduit,Ask,Bing,Norton and Delta Toolbar.

Step 2

Open Mozilla Firefox, Click on Tools menu then choose Options, then click on General tab and then change home page to “www.google.com” or else you want as default search. Then click on apply and close.

Step 3

If step two does not work. Type “about:config” on Firefox URL bar and press enter to open this page. A warning box will open you just have to click on “I’ll be carefully, I promise”. write keyword URL on search and change it to https://www.google.com/ or else you want. write “browser.search.defaultenginename” change it to Google or else you want from Conduit,Ask,Bing,Norton and Delta Toolbar.

Step 4

If you want to reset Firefox follow this step other wise no need to do so. Type “about:support” on Firefox URL bar and press enter ,You will get a page named Troubleshooting information, there will be  a option “Reset Firefox” on this page. You just have to click on “Reset Firefox” if you want to reset all changes you made in Firefox. And it will reset Firefox. And toolbar like Conduit,Ask,Bing,Norton,Delta Toolbar will autoatically from browser

Remove Conduit,Ask,Bing,Norton,Delta Toolbar from Google chrome

Step 1

Open control panel go to add and remove programs and remove or uninstall  bar like,Conduit,Ask,Bing,Norton,Delta Toolbar.

Step 2

Open Google chrome click on  icon in the top right of the browser and then select settings option, A settings page will appear There will be option named as “Manage search engines” click on that,a page Default search engine settings will appear.Here you will be presented with more search engines, those standard default search options and also more detected ones by Google Chrome. Change your default search engine with Google or any other of your choice.

Step 3

If you want to reset all changes in Google chrome follow this step other wise no need to follow this step. Close browser open Run box.Paste this following command in this Run box and press Enter

 ForWindows XP

%UserProfile%Local SettingsApplication DataGoogleChromeUser DataDefault

For Windows 7&8

%UserProfile%AppDataLocalGoogleChromeUser DataDefault,if run box didn’t work follow the path according to command find a file named as “Preferences” and rename this file from “Preferences” to “Preferences_old” After this Google chrome will reset automatically.

Remove Conduit,Ask,Bing,Norton,Delta Toolbar from internet explorer

Step 1

Open control panel go to add and remove programs and  uninstall the search bar you want to remove.

Step 2

Open internet explorer click on tools and open internet options window go to general settings and change home page to “www.google.com” or else you want as default search. That will help you to get rid of Conduit,Ask,Bing,Norton,Delta Toolbar. Then click tools again and choose manage add-ones click on search providers and remove all by right click on them or make any default of your choice.

Step 3

If you want to reset all changes and remove all Conduit,Ask,Bing,Norton,Delta Toolbar follow this step other wise there is no need to do it. Open internet explorer click on tools and open internet options window go to Advance settings  and click on reset button check delete personal settings  and reset.
